She was first married to Mark Mann 29 Oct 1833 in Wimbledon, England. They migrated to the United States arriving aboard the ship "Westminster" 11 Jul 1839. On the manifest, he was listed as Mark Man, Stationer, age 38 and she as Caroline Man, age 31. With them were Caroline and Hannah Man, children of a previous marriage of Mark Mann. Caroline's father, Joseph Elliot and his family were also aboard this ship. Joseph Mark Mann was born to Mark and Caroline in Racine Co. Wisconsin in 1840.

Caroline (Elliott) Mann married Benjamin Hamilton Kelley on Sept. 29, 1840 in Racine Co. WI. Their children were Caroline Eliza Kelley, Benjamin Hamilton Kelley Jr., Daniel Jason Kelley, Elizabeth Jane Kelley, and Harriet Louisa Kelley.
