Funeral service for Betty Jo Davis, 76, of Alto will be Saturday, January 10th, at 2 PM, at the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Megill officiating. Burial will be in the Lynches Chapel Cemetery near Alto. Mrs. Davis passed away Thursday in Rusk. She was born June 1st, 1938 in Alto, Texas to Lonnie & Sally Compton Pyle.

She grew up in Weches and lived most of her life in Alto. She was a homemaker and a member of the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church. She was past President of the Women's Guild and also had been a member of the Thursday Study Club. She traveled for many years with her husband all over the United States with his work in the concrete buisness. They lived in Greenville, South Carolina for 9 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Kay Jennings, Nollie Campbell, Maxine huckeba, Maybell Kellum, brothers, W.L. Pyle, and Richard Pyle.

Pallbearers: Grandsons: Seth Davis, Garrett Davis, Grant Davis, Creager Davis, Adam Davis and Cameron Cox.
