Geraldine H. (Neal) Kennedy, 91, of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Mossville, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at the Village Health Care Center in Missoula.
Geri was born on Aug. 27, 1923, on the family farm north of Mossville, Medina Township, to R. Ray and Claribel (Gess) Neal. She married Walter B. Kennedy Jr. on June 19, 1943, in Boston, Mass. Walt passed away in 1995.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one infant son, Walter B. Kennedy III; and two brothers, William "Bill" Neal in 1974 and Paul "Pete" Neal in 1973, both of San Bernardino, Calif.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Barb) of Frenchtown, Mont., and Jack (Fran) of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sam (Teri) Kennedy of Parker, Colo.; and one sister, Loretta "Dolly" (Richard) Albers of Peoria.
She was a school bus driver for the Mossville Grade School and later worked as a bookkeeper for Champion Furnace.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
