Jewel Presley Capers, 76, of Southaven, retired employee of John Gaston Hospital after 16 years, died at 8:20 PM Sunday, March 22, at her home. Burial in Forest Hill South.
She leaves two daughters, Dr. Julianne Robertson and Mrs. Linda Jo Johnson of Bartlett; four sons, Jimmy Thomas Capers of Southaven, John Taylor Capers of Memphis, Judge Bobby Harold Capers of Mt. Juliet, TN and Luther Calvin Capers of Southaven; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
