Joe Aurouze, former Yerington resident, died in Amarillo, Texas, Monday, according to word received here Tuesday by Mrs. Lester Page. Graveside services will be held today, Friday, at 2 :30 with Bruce Barnum officiating. Joe was born 36 years ago in Yerington and was raised on the family ranch in the Plummer district. He attended the local schools and engaged in farming until moving to Yerington. He and Miss Marjorie Page were married here 10 years ago and have two small daughters. With his family he left Yerington for Texas two years ago, where a brother Henry resides. His parents passed away several years ago. In addition to his widow and children he is survived by one brother, Henry, of Amarillo, Texas. Pallbearers will be Pio Galantuomini, Frank McGowan, Rico Francesconi, John Holley, Plez Abel and Ken Strosnider.
