He died in France in 1918 but body not returned to USA for burial until July 1921. First buried in 14-222, but then transferred to 7-178 American Legion Section of Oak Hill where other WW I soldiers are buried. Therefore, he was listed twice in Oak Hill Cemetery book. His stone is only shown in 7-178.
