Carol L. Rowe, 91, died with her family by her side January 8, 2015, at the Vineyards. She was born September 25, 1923, in Chillicothe, to the late Francis C. Larrick and Lucille Faye (Imler) Rice. On April 16, 1943, she married Robert Richard Rowe, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 12, 1977. Surviving are their five children; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Frances Kathlene (James Curtis) Mahaffey; and a brother Charles Eugene Coey. Carol was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1941. She had worked for JC Penny's for several years. She enjoyed sewing, painting and feeding the birds. Carol was a patient, caring and loving mother and grandmother to her family. The family would like to thank the staff at the Vineyards for years of loving care. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. David Titler officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
