P. M. Phillips (Patrick M. Phillips) a well known and highly esteemed young man died at the City Hospital yesterday after a lingering illness of several weeks with typhoid fever. Mr. Phillips was a member of good standings of the Maple Leaf Camp of the Woodmen of the World. For some time he has been bookkeeper and cotton weigher for the West Huntsville Warehouse Co. He was thought a great deal of by all that knew him, especially those he worked for. The body remained at the home of J. R. Price last night, and this morning conveyed to the State Line for interment. Several members of the Woodmen of the World accompanied the remains.
