JOHN LEPPO SR. died of paralysis at Spring Mills, Richland County, Ohio, aged 88 years.

The deceased was born in Frederick County, Maryland, came to Ohio in the year 1833. He was one of the successful pioneers of this county and lived to a good old age, surrounded by children and grandchildren to comfort him in his declining years. In early life he became a member of the Reformed Church, in the faith of which he consistently lived and trust triumphantly departed to the church in glory. Husband of Sarah Aleppo. War of 1812.
