She was born on a farm near Spring Mills, September 3, 1839, and was aged 62 years, 2 months and 12 days. Mrs. Craighead was a member of the Clay Lutheran Church at Spring Mills.
She leaves a husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Hess and Mrs. Smith Kirkpatrick, and three sons, Bartley, Lee and William Craighead.
It had been reported to Coroner Bushnell that Mrs. Craighead had died without having had medical attendance. Dr. Bushnell was out that way and called at the Craighead home, where he learned that she had had medical attention, the physician having been at the house only a short time before her death of paralysis of the heart. Funeral at 12 noon Monday.
