Pansy Muriel Moore, 83 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home in Madill. She was born on March 12, 1931 in Vinson, Oklahoma to the late William David Strickland and Ethel Jane Ensley. Pansy graduated from Ron High School in 1949. She married Thurston Wayne Moore, on September 8, 1949 and they owned and operated the Daisy Queen in Hollis for 30 years. In 1990 they moved to the Kingston area and later moved to Willis, Oklahoma. They raised ostriches, which she found was the most entertaining thing she ever did. Pansy was an avid reader, she liked to draw, knit and in her later years she enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Powell Church of Christ and was a faithful Christian all her life. Pansy really enjoyed singing and had a beautiful alto voice.

She is survived by:

Husband: Thurston Moore, Madill, Oklahoma

Son: David Moore and wife, Linda, Enid, Oklahoma

Sister: Bonnie Barton and husband, Clyde, Tulsa, Oklahoma

4 Grandchildren: Bailey Jones and husband; Brad, J. T. Moore and wife; Stormi, Jennifer Cole and husband Brian, and Keeven Moore and wife Kelsi.
