Stacey Webb Obituary

EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Stacey Webb entered into rest Tuesday, April 12, 2005. He was born April 26, 1942 in Augusta, the husband of Anna Moseley Webb and the son of Lucille Gutierrez Webb and the late Henry C. Webb, Sr. of Augusta. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM today, April 15, 2005 at The Church of the Good Shepherd with The Very Reverend Robert Fain officiating. Stacey was a dedicated and loving husband and father who loved spending time with his seven grandchildren. He had a tremendous faith in God and inspired those around him. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. His love of God and his family carried him to the end. He was a caring, thoughtful, understanding, considerate person with a good sense of humor. All these qualities, and his abundant people skills, contributed to his success in his career and provided a rock solid foundation for his family, friends, and career associates, leaving all with a fortune of cherished memories. Af ter attending Augusta College, Stacey began a 47 year career in banking, technology, and management with Georgia Railroad Bank, South Carolina National Bank, FiServ, and Intercept. His expertise included programming, technical support, management sales and marketing in the financial and data processing industry. The most enjoyable challenge in his career was the opportunity to work with the people and clients in his territory. Additional survivors include two daughters, Carol Webb of Tucker, and Jennifer Maddux and husband, Brent, of Cumming; two sons, Michael Webb and wife, Kathy, of Augusta, and R. Boyd Webb and wife, Ginny, of West Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Henry C. Webb, Jr. and wife, Faye, of Chapin, S.C.; one sister, Lynda Webb of Augusta; and seven grandchildren, Taylor Webb, Madison Carpenter, Seth Carpenter, Mackenzie Webb, Grace Webb, Lauren Maddux, and R.
