Visiting hours will be observed today from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Wednesday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.
A native of Scott, former resident of New Iberia, and resident of Rayne, Mrs. Louviere died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Rayne Guest House.
Mrs. Louviere was a past member of Mothers of Deceased Veterans. She worked at TG&Y in New Iberia for 10 years and also at Wag-A-Bag on and off for 19 years.
She is survived by her son, Charles J. Louviere of Georgia; three brothers, Gilbert J. Henry Sr. of LaPlace, Percy J. Henry of New Iberia and Rufus A. Henry of Irving, Texas; a sister, Orita Henry Duhon of Erath; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Louviere was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Louviere; parents, Lenis Gilbert and Alice Leger Henry; a son, Robert A. Louviere Jr.; a daughter, Gertrude Louviere Arceneaux; three brothers, John, Julius and Raoul Henry; three sisters, Aggles Henry Guidry, Sister Claudette Marie Henry and Addie Henry and a grandson, Clifford Louviere.
Pallbearers will be family members.
