She was born April 9, 1944, the daughter of Artis (Cornett) and Daniel Hamilton.
She is survived by two children, Patricia (Charles) Loos and Tim Farler; four grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Daniel and Mary; sisters, Glenna (Archie) Adams, Rebecca (Leon) Engle, Eileen Hamilton, Brenda (Jamie) Elam; brothers, Bonelle (Patsy) Hamilton, Wallace (Venetia) Hamilton and Daniel (Carla) Hamilton; sisters-in-law, Grace, Ella Rae, and Hattie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clay and brothers, Mervin, Marvin, Darrell, Henry and Willie.
For many years "Pete" worked as a cook at Phillips 27 restaurant.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Hueston Southern Baptist Church, 10257 Morning Sun Rd. in Morning Sun. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 on Monday morning also at the church. Burial will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park.
