MAYSVILLE — Beulah Mae Wallingford Simms, 86, of Maysville, died Tuesday, Jan.18, 2011, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewis County to the late Allen Vester and Emma Flannigan Thacker.

She is survived by four sons, Allen (Jennifer) Wallingford and Ricky (Mary) Wallingford, both of Maysville, Ronnie (Carla) Wallingford of Ewing, and Billy (Joyce) Wallingford of Augusta; one daughter, Bonnie (Danny) Doyle of Maysville; three sisters, Ida Thacker and Helen Evans, both of Maysville and Betty Arp of Moscow, Ohio; two brothers, Adrian Thacker of Lexington and Joe Thacker of Augusta; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Wallingford; two daughters, Ruby Ilene Wallingford and Linda Wallingford Collier; three brothers, Georgie, Genie and Russell Thacker; a sister, Iva Thacker Dodson; and her second husband, Dial Simms.

Services for Beulah Mae Wallingford Simms will be held at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at 2 p.m., with Rev John Ray Dodson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Charleston Bottoms Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roscoe Fite, Robert Collier, Rick Wallingford, Carl Wells, Jonathon Wallingford, Terry Dale Wallingford and an honorary pallbearer, Shawn Wells.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
