She was a homemaker and a member of the Science Hill Church of the Nazarene.
She was survived by her daughters, Delores DeFord and Geraldine Collins, both of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Gladys Plowman of the Mt. Zion community; her son, Donald Vaught of Delaware, Ohio; her step-daughters, Mrs. Audra Girdler and Mrs. Viola Hines, both of Science Hill, Pulaski County, Kentucky, and Hazel Pitman and Mildred Blevins both of Mt. Zion community in Pulaski County, Kentucky; her stepson, Curtis Vaught of Somerset, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Mary Ruble; and her husband, Ollie Vaught.
Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Reverend Larry Cochran officiating. Morris and Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
