Jamie John Fisher was born on August 26, 1975 in Sedan, Kansas. He was the son of Suedel (Slane) English and her husband Robert and John Robert Fisher. Received his education in the communities of Sedan and Cedar Vale, Kansas and completed his education in the Bartlesville Public Schools. He worked in the restaurant industry as well as at Wal-Mart and the Wellington Daily Newspaper, Wellington, Kansas. He made his home in Wichita, Kansas prior to returning to Bartlesville in 2005. He and the former Tracy Council were married in Bartlesville. He was an ardent musician and had a passion for art. His main goal in life was to be the best, loving father he could be to his son, Anthony.
Surviving are his mother, Suedel (Slane) English, Bartlesville; one son, his beloved son, Anthony James Fisher, Tulsa, Oklahoma; special friend Angel Cross, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one grandmother Karin Brinke of Weiden, Germany; one sister, Christy Smith, Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Milo English, Bartlesville; one uncle, Alan Slane, Arkansas City, Kansas; three aunts, Judy Fischer, Vicky Lewis and Rebecca Graham, all of Arkansas City, Kansas; his two nephews, Trent Smith and Travis Smith, all of Wichita, Kansas as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry Slane and Delphine (Pate) Slane.
Visitation for Jamie will be held at the Davis Family Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until 8 pm.
Funeral services for Jamie will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday in the United Methodist Church, Wauneta, Kansas. Rev. Jerry Bever will be the officiant. Interment will follow in the Round Mound Cemetery, rural Wauneta. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Family Funeral Home.
