Otillie “Bobbie” Bright, age 98, of New Braunfels, passed away, Monday, July 17, 2006 at Kirkwood Manor.

She was born October 8, 1907 in Bartlett, Texas to Frank Kasparek and Bertha (Baron) Kasparek. She married J.T. Bright on December 2, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas.

She was a member of New Braunfels Church of Christ, Comal County Senior Citizen Center and was a former Comal County Elections Clerk.

Some of her favorite pass-time activities were fishing, flower gardening, and sewing clothes for her grandchildren.

Surviving her is daughter, Barbara Hedge of New Braunfels; brothers, Willie Kasparek of Helotes, TX and J.D. Kasparek of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband J.T. Bright preceded her in death in 1990.

Public visitation will begin 6:30 pm. Friday at the funeral home and will continue until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home with Mr. Wayne Moody officiating.

Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
