Mrs. Anna K. Christensen Syndergaard, widow of the late Peter Syndergaard, died at the family home Monday night from informities incident to old age.
Mrs. Syndergaard was boen in Skorup, Denmark, January 23, 1856, and came with her parents to Utah in 1872, having embraced the L. D. S. faith in her native land.
She was married to Peter Syndergaard, a prominent farmer and stock-grower of Mt. Pleasant, in the Endowment house in Salt Lake in 1873, and with the exception of a few years residence in Wales, she has made her home in Mt. Pleasant ever since.
She was the mother of six children and also reared the children of her sister, Mrs. Mary Syndergaard, upon the death of their mother.
She is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. S. P. Christensen an Wilford Syndergaard of Mt. Pleasant and Joseph P. Syndergaard of Salt Lake, and the following foster children: Christian Syndergaard, Mrs. Andrew Marx, Mrs. Sena Woolsey, Mrs. W. K. Peterson and Lars Syndergaard of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by one brother, Christian Syndergaard of Upalco, Utah; twenty-five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
