He was preceded in death by his parents James Willie and Clara Mae (Elrod) Prator and his wife Mamilee (Pipkin) Prator.
He is survived by two daughters, two sons-in-law, three grandchildren and their spouses and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Bartlesville Oklahoma. Reverend Tom Cox will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Walker-Brown Funeral Home, Bartlesville Oklahoma.
