J. Worth Folmar died at the home of his daughter in Montgomery last Sunday from a stroke of apoplexy, but it was not thought that he was worse, than for some time. Deceased lived in Crenshaw County near the line of Pike and had been a farmer and owner of a mill for a long time. He was 69 years old and left surviving his widow and three sons, Jesse T., Max and Hubbard Folmar, and five daughters, Mrs. J.B. Reynolds of Montgomery, Mrs. J.L. Wilson, Mrs. A.J. Seymour & Misses Lillie & Clyde Folmar all of whom lived in the community near his home. His remains were carried from Montgomery to Goshen and were buried at Elam Cemetery on Monday following his death. (Crenshaw County News - July 20, 1922)
