MRS. J. E. NUNN OF DRIPPING SPRINGS DIES

 (from Wednesday's Daily Quill)

Mrs. J. E. Nunn, a prominent resident of the Dripping Springs district, died about noon today at her farm home, following an illness of several days of a complication of troubles.

Surviving her are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Wayne McFarland of Dripping Springs, Mrs. Dorothy Batman of Kansas City, Miss Lois Nunn who has been living in West Plains this fall and winter while attending high school, and Miss Geneva Nunn, a young girl living at the family home.  Also, one son, James Nunn, who lives at the family home. Miss Lois Nunn is a senior in the high school here.

All of Mrs. Nunn's children were with her at the time of her death with the exception of the daughter in Kansas City, who has been notified of her mother's death and will arrive here tonight.

Mrs. Nunn with her husband came here many years ago from Kentucky, and except for a brief period when they lived near Koshkonong, have made their home on the farm near Dripping Springs.  Mrs. Nunn has always been active in Church and community circles at Dripping Springs, and was popular in a wide circle of friends.  She also was known to many friends in West Plains, being a frequent visitor here.
