JAMES E. NUNN DIES

Funeral services for James E. Nunn, who died Friday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Wayne McFarland of the Dripping Springs Community, six miles north of West Plains, were held Sunday afternoon at the Dripping Springs Church. Burial, was in the cemetery adjoining under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Paige Robertson of Robertson Mortuary.

Besides Mrs. McFarland, he is survived by three other daughters and a son: Mrs. Oral Batman of Kansas City, Mrs. Wayne Bennett of Peace Valley, Mrs. Harry Lasswell of Cabool, and James L. Nunn of Cabool. Three sisters and a brother also survive as do several grandchildren. The sisters and brothers are John B. Nunn and Mrs. John McKaeig of Sturgis, Ky.

Mr. Nunn was born September 6, 1865, at Sullivan, Ky. In 1900 he married Miss Martha Watson and they lived in Kentucky for seven years before moving to Texas, where they remained three years before coming to Howell County. They settled on the farm at Dripping Springs. Mrs. Nunn died in January 1931.
