Brian Glen Hodges, 52, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness Thursday, January 1, 2015 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Brian was born January 12, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles and Verva (Mayer) Hodges. He was a painter by trade and a proud member of the Local Union 246. He will be remembered as a hard worker, an avid football fan, and for his devotion to his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Travis (Jenni), Matthew, and Brandon Hodges; grandchildren, Tate Brian and Brooklynn Kristeana; mother, Verva; brother, Joseph Hodges; sister, Carla Long; and his significant other, Brenda. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.
