Patricia Lee Clinton, 65, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 23, 2014. She was born March 16, 1949, in San Diego, and was an 11-year resident of Nevada.

Patricia Clinton was affectionately known as "Peppermint Patty" by her friends and family. Patty's husband, of 48 years, Paul, was her one true love.

Patty's true passion was raising her children, JP and Tova; five grandchildren, Kuestin, Brogin, Chandin, Cierra and Ryein; and one great-grandchild, Sophia.

Patty and her husband opened their home to 42 foster children, providing those children with a stable and loving home. Patricia was very devoted to her work at Las Vegas Day school where she was loved by both the staff and the kids. To her family she was known as wife, mom, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Birkhofer; and father, Melvin Birkhofer.

She is survived by husband, Paul Clinton; son, JP Clinton; daughter, Tova Freels; daughter-in-law, Gail Clinton; grandchildren, Kuestin Wines, Brogin Wines, Chandin Clinton, Cierra Clinton and Ryein Clinton; great-granddaughter, Sophia.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Las Vegas Meadows Clubhouse, 2900 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
