Services for Mrs. Inez Elizabeth (Campbell) Buehl, age 92, of Davenport, will be 11:00 am on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Inez Elizabeth Campbell was born on July 12, 1919 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Samuel and Ruth (Jones) Campbell. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines. She married Leon B. Offermann on August 11, 1940 in Clinton, IA. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1964. On June 14, 1966, she married Mr. Harold J. Buehl in Las Vegas, NV. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1999.
Prior to her retirement in 1981, Inez worked as an office manager for K & A Trucking, Adel Plumbing, and Schilder Electric. She was a past member and organist for 35 years at various local churches including, Grace Methodist Church in Davenport, and Long Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include her son: Harold (Jana Oliver) Buehl Jr. of Atlanta, GA; a brother: Melvin (Wanda) Campbell of Marian, IA; a sister: Annetta Ruth {#136157832} (Jack {#97958889} ) Berger of Davenport; several nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very special niece, Clover Daley, who lovingly cared for her during the last years of her life.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Leon and Harold, she was preceded in death by two infant daughters: Sharon and Karon Offermann; two brothers: Glenn and Lloyd; and two sisters: Rowena Seward and Marilyn Campbell.
Inez passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
