At the Grand Falls General Hospital, June 8, 2014, Mr. Guy M. Rioux of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 60 years. He was the husband of Pierrette (Ruest) Rioux. Born at Grand Falls in 1954, he was a son of Clermont Rioux and of the late Rita Cormier.
He is survived by his wife, his two sons, Terry Rioux (Melissa) of Calgary, Alberta and Jamie Rioux of Ottawa, Ontario, his father, Clermont Rioux, a resident of the Falls Villa, brothers and sisters, Marlene Vaillancourt (Mike) of Grand Falls, Melvin (Judy) of Victoria, BC, Don (late Andrea) of Greenwood, NS, Rodney (Beth) of Rothesay and Diana Jean (Armand) of Grand Falls, father-in-law, Maurice O. Ruest of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, several nieces and nephews.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral service will be held Thursday, June 12th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Extra-Mural Hospital Program would be appreciated by the family.
