Lee "Gunch" Warren 96, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017.
Born in Buncombe County, he was a son of the late John Alton and Jessie Rogers Warren and was married to Daisy Ledbetter Warren, who died in 2006.
He was retired from yard maintenance at American Enka and also worked in tobacco farming and for many years in lawn mowing. He was a member of Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church and was a previous volunteer fireman with the Upper Hominy VFD.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan W. Rogers (David); sons, David Warren (Jeannean), Eddie Warren (Teena), Roger Warren (Brenda), and Steven Warren; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Willard Pruitt and Terry Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
