Faye C. Sizemore, Johnson City, passed away, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Scott County, VA and the daughter of the late Robie and June Cowden Carico, and stepfather Roy Strunk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Steven D. Sizemore; and grandson: Steven Brett Sizemore.

Faye graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University. Faye was a former Miss Kingsport. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of sixty four years: Douglas M. Sizemore; daughter: Debra Shaw; son: Mark Sizemore and wife Cheryl; grandchildren: Kelly Sentell and husband Gregg, Morgan Jackson and husband Brian, Brandon Sizemore and wife Sarah, Jordan Sizemore and wife Heather, Ryan Sizemore, Caroline Crowe, and Catherine Crowe; great-grandchildren: Hadley Sentell, and Reid Sentell; her special friends at the Bridge Club of America.

The family requests the honor of your presence to Celebrate Faye’s Life at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services. The family will greet guests to share memories from 10:30 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. A Graveside and Committal service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gregg Sentell, Brian Jackson, Brandon Sizemore, Jordan Sizemore, Ron Sizemore, David Shanks, Howard Walker, and Jim Green.
