Joel Loren Larson, Sioux Falls, SD, died unexpectedly on November 10, 2014, in Sioux Falls. He was 41.

Joel Loren Larson was born in Sioux Falls on April 4, 1973. He graduated from Washington Senior High School in 1991, and then earned his Bachelor of Science degree from SDSU in the mid-1990s.

Joel had previously worked at KFC restaurants in Brookings, Sioux Falls, and Washington DC. He was also a counselor at McCrossan's Boys Ranch. He later worked at Fargo Glass and Paint.

He is preceded in death by his father, Loren Fenstermaker; brother, James T. Larson; and nephew, Branden Larson.

Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Augustana Lutheran Church, 235 N. Prairie Avenue. Visitation begins at noon, Friday, with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00 Friday evening at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue.
