Corabelle R. Chuse, 103, formerly of 4313 N. Westlake Lane, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria.
Born Oct. 6, 1911, in Peoria to Wilbur and Cora Miller, she married Ferd B. Chuse on Oct. 6, 1951, in Champaign. He preceded her in death.
She outlived her nine siblings.
She was an elementary teacher who first taught in a one-room school and later in the Peoria Schools at Blaine Sumner for 25 years.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
