Myrtle Doris Bruner, 93, has gone to Heaven and has been united with her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful Christian, loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She had a very caring heart and a giving nature and will be missed by all.

Born on 03-09-1921 in the Town of Lafayette to Charles and Elsie (Cook) Roycraft, She attended Eau Claire Schools and graduated in 1939 from Eau Claire High School. She Enjoyed attending her class reunions to see her old classmates.

She was an assistant Chaplain for the D.A.V. and was involved for many years with the V.F.W. she volunteered for many charities and loved helping out when she was needed.

She loved fishing and felt it was an activity that gave her much relaxation that kept her in good health.

She was married in 1940 to Irvin Bell. Her second marriage to Early Lowry ended with his death in 1978. She later married Mack Bruner who preceded her in death in 1987.

She is survived by her sister Edith Schild of Chippewa Falls and her children: Charlotte Semingson of Eau Claire, John (Nancy) Dutter of Eau Claire, Linda (Mark) Dedrickson of Hallie, Suzette (John) Hallquist of Elk Mound, Marcia Lowry (William Vervoort) of Appleton and Stepdaughter Donna Lowry. Also: Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives and friends as well as her brothers and sisters in the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Roycraft, sister Kathleen Zinsmaster and Stepson Leonard Lowry.

We would like to thank the Dove healthcare Center for the good care they gave her and a special thank you to Theda Care Hospice and Cherry Meadows. Her special hugs and her precious smile will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will take place at 1 pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Fuller Speckien Hulke Funeral Home with the Reverend Greg Brown and the Reverend Keith Gunn officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 am until time of the service. Burial will immediately follow the funeral in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
