Timothy Donovan Dies in California
Dennis Donovan, of Castle Grove, received a telegram Wednesday announcing the death of his only brother, Tim Donovan, at Sacramento, Cal., is release coming after an illness of several months' duration. Mr. Donovan was in his fifty-ninth year, having been born in Castle Grove in 1871.
For the past thirty years he has made his home in California where he was engaged in mining. He was never married.
Besides the brother married he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Kate Shaffer, of Omaha.
The remains arrived in Coggon Saturday morning and were taken to the home of his brother. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. J. Hennessey at the church of the Immaculate Conception at Castle Grove at 9:30 Monday morning and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
