83, entered into eternal rest on December 26, 2014.

John was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a retired self-employed excavator. He enjoyed spending time in the country working on his farm.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, June Marie Wooldridge; son, Jack Wooldridge; brothers, Coleman, William, Eugene, Thomas, and Delbert; sisters, Lillian, and Mary Catherine.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joanne Lyles (Wade), Bob Wooldridge, Lois McCauley (Tony), Paul Wooldridge (Tammy), and Sandy Bogner (Tim); sisters, Rita Curtsinger (J.R.), Helen Henry (Bob), and Marilyn Hagan (Bill); 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a very special friend and companion, Leona Lorton.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Evergreen Cemetery will be private.
