These cremains were among dozens that remained unclaimed at various area funeral homes as of October 16 2014. Those remaining unclaimed were interred at Forest Lawn on November 12, 2014. While the actual death date is unknown, it appears the cremation date was September 13, 2007, at First Memorial Funeral Services in Vancouver.

Born in Kyiv, Ukraina, he escaped the Nazi and Soviet invasions, joining the Royal Air Force, Bomber Command, in England, where he flew 36 missions as a navigator of an Avro Lancaster. He relocated to Argentina after the war, where he married the Canadian girl that he had met while training for his air service. They moved to Toronto where he joined Ontario Hydro, serving first as a financial administrator for dam building projects in northern Ontario during the 50s. He then moved to the head office in Toronto in various capacities until his retirement in 1977. He was known to family and friends for his rye sense of humour, rigorous sense of duty and gentle heart.
