Omer Corning Chatfield, died 1908, born April 24, 1860, in Adams, Town of Troy, Walworth County, Wisconsin. He was the son of Silas and Catheryn (Kling) Chatfield. Omer was one of seven children born into the Silas Chatfield family. He married on April 27, 1881 to Isabelle "Belle" Lackey. This union had four children; one daughter and three sons. His daughter Minnie Chatfield Hunter preceded him in death on February 12, 1901. He is survived by his wife, Belle, and three sons; also brothers George, DeWitt, and Seneca Chatfield, and one sister, Alice (Chatfield) Gonia. Omer Corning Chatfield was laid to rest in the Adams Cemetery, Town of Troy.
