Wilbur L. Zimmerman, 54, 720 N. Wesley died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday at his residence.
Born in Springfield, Mr. Zimmerman was the son of Frederick and Grace Kelley Zimmerman.
He was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, two half-sisters and one half-brother.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Grace Zimmerman of Springfield; three sisters, Mrs. Eloise O'Dell and Mrs. Beverly Coontz both of Springfield, and Mrs. Betty McAfee of New Berlin; three half-sisters, Mrs. Gwen Squires of Springfield, Mrs. Evelyn Eigenmann of Riverton and Mrs. Mildred Reed of North Hollywood, Calif.; one brother, Harold E. Davis; one aunt, Mrs. Lois Miller of Loami; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Thomson officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
