CPL US MARINE CORPS - VIETNAM
Palermo, Maine- Patrick Lee Parker (CPL, B Co., 1st BN, 5th REG, 1st Marine Div. Vietnam 1967-68) passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, following a brave seven month battle with cancer, surrounded by the loving women in his life. He was born on July 6 1949, in Waterville, Maine, the son of Theresa Cyr and Keith Wilbur Parker.
A proud combat Marine Vietnam veteran, he followed his passion with college studies in computers and psychology. He later joined the Waterville American Legion.
As a proud member of the New Brunswick Metis Nation, he honored his heritage by sharing his knowledge with his family and community. His love of teaching his skills was only matched with his love for his computers.
His strong values of loyalty, honesty, and respect will be carried on by the loving family and friends he would have done anything for.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Decindra "Cindy" Parker and her family; his three daughters, Savannah, Kristina, and April; his grandchildren, Marina, Jessi, Derick, and Jayden; his great-granddaughter, Zoey; his brother, Steve and his family; his sisters, Bonnie Sue DuBois and her family, Brenda Parker and her family, and Gail Labbe and her family; his step father, Clem Vigue; his blood brother, Paul Bear; and his long-time friend, Dave.
