Eunice Stone was the daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Stone, son-in-law of Governor Thomas Hinckley, and Reliance (Hinckley) born September 23, 1721. David Bangs, third child of Samuel and Mary (Hinckley), was born March 29, 1709, at Harwick, MA. Eunice and David married and they moved to Wilmington, Windham County, Vermont. David died here in April, 1803, aged ninety-four years. Eunice Stone Bangs lived to see her sixteen sons enlist in the Revolutionary war and died at the age of one hundred and four years and 7 months and 13 days on February 5, 1816 in Wilmington, VT. On her 100th birthday she walked nearly a mile to church to hear a sermon preached in honor of the occasion.
