George was the eighth child born to Leonidas D. Dobson and Mary Ann Mangrum. He served as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army during WWII. George married Evelyn Dillard and they had four children. He later married Joyce Anderson and had three children. He had 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He lived in California after leaving Oklahoma. He lived a great big life which included Real Estate development, oil and gas drilling, piloting his own planes, building, exploration and more. His greatest love was his family. He died at age 94, surrounded by family.
