Betty Jo Spencer Replogle
Betty Replogle, age 78, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Northbrooke Healthcare of Jackson.
A native of Gibson County, Tennessee, Betty was born on July 20, 1935 the daughter of the late Jim and Dulcie Cotton Spencer. She was married to Bobby Replogle for fifty three years before his death in 2008.
Betty was a graduate of Medina High School and West Tennessee Business College. She was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee with over twenty years of service.
She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel with her husband, especially to the west coast, and enjoyed collecting "Precious Moment" figurines. She was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church of Jackson.
Betty is survived by her three sons, Bruce "Rip" Replogle and wife Nancy of Jackson, TN, Bryan Replogle and wife Diane of Collierville, TN and Brad Replogle and wife Lori of Picayune, MS; two sisters, Cornelia Cagle of Jackson and Evelyn Barnes of Medina, TN; a brother, James Tera Spencer and wife Peggy of Medina, TN; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Amanda, Cody, Camron, Loye, Molly Grace and Madison Scarlett.She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Scarlett Replogle; two brothers, Bluford Spencer and J.B. Spencer, and a sister, Louise Luffman.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Ron Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Replogle, Cody Replogle, Camron Replogle, Paul Spencer, Jimmy Wilson and Steve Spencer.
