(married Archie Rhodes), Edna Belle (married Jeremiah Jones), Ira Bryant, Densey and Clarence Ellsworth Davis (married Alydia G Horton).

In 1880, Frank E. Davis, aged 14, was living in Yaphank, New York, with his widowed mother, Matilda Davis, aged 51.

In 1900, Frank E. Davis, aged 35, a teamster, was living in Brookhaven, New York, with his wife, Dencey C. Davis, aged 27, and children, Loren E. Davis, aged 13, Edna B. Davis, aged 11, Irene M. Davis, aged 5, Martha J. Davis, aged 4, and Ira B. Davis, aged 7 months, and his widowed mother-in-law, Martha J. Corwin, aged 58.

In 1910, Frank Davis, aged 41, a laborer for a trucking company, was living on Union Avenue, Patchogue, Brookhaven, New York, with his wife, Densey Davis, aged 39, to whom he had been married for 23 years, and children, Martha Davis, aged 12, Ira B. Davis, aged 11, Densey Davis, aged 7, and Clarence Davis, aged 6, and widowed mother-in-law, Martha Corwin, aged 64.

On March 5, 1917, Frank Ellsworth Davis, aged 53, was enumerated in a military census, stating that; he resided in Danbury, Connecticut; was a farmer, married, with four dependents; and described himself as being 5'7" tall, 180 lbs.

In 1940, Frank E. Davis, aged 74, a millworker, was living on Third Street, Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut, in the home of his son-in-law, Jeremiah Jones, aged 54, a chauffeur for a private home, and daughter, Edna Jones, aged 51, and Gertrude Whaley, aged 18.

Obituary - FRANK E. DAVIS, 83, a former Yaphank and Patchogue resident, died Saturday at his home in Danbury, Conn. Mr. Davis was born in Yaphank and spent his childhood and early adult years in Patchogue, moving to Danbury 35 years ago. He had been in ill health the past several years. His survivors are three sons, Lorin E. of Danbury, Ira B. of Danbury, and Clarence F. of Kent, Conn.; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Jones of Danbury, Mrs. Martha J. Rhodes of Bay Shore, and Mrs. John J. Fitzgerald of Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His parents were the late Ira B. and Matilda Overton Davis. Funeral services were at 10:3, 0 a. m. Wednesday at Mr. Davis's residence in Danbury, and interment was at 3 p. m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove cemetery, Patchogue.
