Bedard --- Anderson wedding:

A very quiet wedding took place Friday (May 8) evening at about eight o'clock at the Scandia Methodist parsonage when Miss Mabel Anderson (16) of Scandia and Mr. Victor Bedard (18) of Stockton, Kansas, were united in marriage, Rev. Johnston officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Fred Anderson, an old resident of Scandia, and is well and favorably known here. The groom is not generally known here, but we understand he is a barber by trade.

The newly married couple go this week to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where we understand they will make their future home. The young couple have a good many friends who will wish them all happiness, and the Journal joins with them in hoping they have a pleasant and prosperous journey through life together.

1911: Their 1st child, Kenneth S. Bedard was born, in Scandia.

1915: Their 2nd child, Marguerite Bedard was born February 20, in Scandia.

1930: Per the Federal census, the Bedards' were living on 4th Street, in Scandia. Per Marguerite Bedard Patton's obituary (FAG #53068377) later that year they moved to Fort Collins, CO, 415 South Whitcomb.
1940: Per the Federal census, Victor was a barber & they were still at the Fort Collins address.
