Julia Clara Sue Wright Turner, 76, of 7155 South Dearing Road, Covington, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Benton House in Covington.
Mrs. Turner was born in Cleveland County, on September 26, 1938 to the late Lawrence Pinkney Wright and Rilla Gardner Wright. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the State of Georgia in the Disability Department.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Wright and wife Sadie.
She is survived by her son, Edwin Turner, III and wife Kathi of Covington, GA; two daughters, Deidre Turner Slifko and husband Paul of Conyers, GA and Shena Turner Prince and husband Eric of Madison, GA; sister, Jewell Devine and husband Ralph of Shelby; six grandchildren, Chelsie Slifko Gruber and husband Nathan, Anna Grace Slifko, Katie Turner Burkett and husband Danny, Savanah Segrest, Grayson Segrest and Shelby Segrest; and one great-granddaughter, Autumn Gray Burkett.
