Bobby Lee McNeill, 76, of Wildlife Road, Lillington, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at his home.

He was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Cumberland County, son of the late John Worth and Sara Oda Faircloth McNeill. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ann McNeill Watkins and Sara Oda Fairclothe McNeill. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired from the telecommunications industry.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Roy McLamb. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Arlette McLamb McNeill; son, Robbie Lee McNeill and wife Sharon, and Debbie W. McNeill of Ninety-Six, S.C.; daughters, Bobbie Arnell Walker and hsuband (sic) Garry of Erwin, Elizabeth "Beth" Stone and husband Bennie of Lillington; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; brothers, John McNeill and wife Nancy of Goldsboro, Jimmy McNeill and wife Mary and Alabama, Tomy McNeill and wife Suzette, Odell McNeill and wife Elizabeth, Julius McNeill and wife Marilyn, all of Lillington, and Reuben McNeill of Alaska; and sisters, Peggy M. West and husband Dick of Lillington, Dorothy M. Peele and husband Kenny of Sanford.
