Mr Boyer died on Dec. 28. He was a lifelong resident of Hancock County and was a member of the Linton United Methodist Church, where he served as a steward for over 70 years. Mr. Boyer was a veteran of World War 1. He was a retired farmer and merchant and served as postmaster of the Linton, Ga. post office.
Survivors include a brother, Bruce Boyer of Linton. two sisters, Lillie Mae Boyer of Linton and Mrs. Herbert Thompson of Milledgeville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
