The headstone is incorrect. Cynthia Marie Hutcheson Martin Rutledge was born in 1842. She was older than Thomas Wesley Rutledge. Her first husband was Levi Walter Martin.

Mrs. Rutledge passed was Monday (Dec. 13) about three weeks after the death of her husband. They almost went together. She fell out of an auto and soon afterward developed pneumonia, which caused her death.
