Mrs. Marie Lawn, 814 Willow Street, passed away this morning at 6:10 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster. Mrs. Lawn, known as Mollie, was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue Sisterhood and active in local charities. She possessed a genial disposition, and had many friends in all circles. She lent a helping hand to many public enterprises during both wars. She is suvived by her husband, Isadore, a daughter Marthe of Rye, New York; and two sisters, Mrs. Rae Finn, and Mrs. Edith Shapiro of Brookline, Mass. (Lebanon Daily News, Dec. 21,1948)
