Vidalia - Mrs. Juanita Burns Webster, age 83, of Vidalia, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her home, after an extended illness. She was born in the Gillis Springs Community in Treutlen County, and lived most of her life in Vidalia. She was a retired bookkeeper, Pink Lady at the former Meadows Memorial Hospital in Vidalia, and was a member of the Women of the Moose. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia, and the Busy Bee Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Webster, Sr.; parents, H.A. Burns, Sr. and Ludella Webb Burns; and eight siblings.


Mrs. Webster is survived by one son, Robert L. "Bob" Webster and wife Debbie of Lyons; one daughter, Sandra Phillips and husband Johnny of Gadsden, Alabama; one brother, H.A. Burns, Jr. and wife Mary of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Whitney Williams, Brandon Webster, Jonathan Phillips, and Ashlee Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Clayton Williams, Hannah Williams, and Blaze Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.


The funeral service will held Monday, December 22nd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
