Don passed away on December 11, 2014 at the VA Menlo Park, CA. He was born on September 13. 1923 in Stockton, CA.


During World War II, he served in the United States Marine Corps, 1st Marine Division. He received a purple heart with a bronze star for being wounded twice in combat on Cape Gloucester and Peleliu.


He was a magnificent human being who gave to all he could. He leaves behind his loving wife of sixty-six years, Sophie Mason of South San Francisco, his daughter Donna Reasoner of Stockton, CA, his two grandsons Bruce Donald Reasoner of South San Francisco and George Reasoner of Redwood City, CA and Sister Shirley Rayer of Big River, CA.


A special thank you to all the staff at the VA Menlo Park for the amazing care he received.


Services will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA on December 19, 2014 at 11:00am


Contributions may be made to the VA Menlo Park building, 360-A or the SPCA, San Mateo, CA.
